Segression @ The Gaelic Club, Sydney - 28.11.09

Segression are back! Another good night of metal, showcasing excellent local talent. Unfortunately I missed the first act, but those that I caught put on a good show. Despite some problems with the bass early on, One Shot Kill put on a solid and entertaining set. Switchblade played as tight as always, and their guess bass player, Ryan I think, played really well and had a strong stage presence like the band's usual basist. But now onto Segression. By this time all the old school metal heads were plastered and keen as fuck. Within seconds of the opening riff, an epic mosh pit opened up, Jack Daniel's and VB were being thrown around ad nauseum, old school metal had come to the Gaelic. Segression played well, lept around on stage and, most importantly, got the crowd going and frequently thanked us for coming out. To all the bands that played, cheers for a kick arse night!
